CBD Oil, Hemp Seed Oil and Hemp Oil: What’s the difference?

Remember our definitions: CBD Oil is an extract containing CBD (along with other phytochemicals if it is full spectrum); Hemp Seed Oil is an oil extracted from the seeds of the hemp plant and contains only trace amounts of CBD; Hemp Oil is a broad term that could include CBD Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, or both. This is where the buyer must beware and understand the exact definition of Hemp Oil by producer and product. Many unscrupulous vendors label their products as Hemp Oil with a big price tag but only give you Hemp Seed Oil with little to no CBD. Other vendors may mean well, but are using the term Hemp Oil to get around rules and regulations. This is not truth in labeling and is not honest and transparent. This is a huge disservice to you, the customer. Only purchase verified CBD content! See our FAQ on Testing.
